Criterion E my podcast

Evaluation on design specifications
My design specs were:
-Has background music
-Around 5-10 minutes
-Clear audio
-Not dragging (fun to hear)
-Include expressions (change pitch etc)

The only design specification I wasnt able to do was to include background music. At first I thought I could do it using Windows Movie Maker, but when that time came, i ended up discovering that you cant merge two different audio files into one. So i just carried on with my musicless podcast. I can agree it is around 5-10 minutes long. I believe mine was about 6 minutes long so i have no problem with that. Mrs. Wilson wrote that my podcast had clear audio so that specification is ok. I dont know whether my podcast was fun to hear, but she said it was an interesting topic. My podcast also passes Mrs. Wilson's specifications which was that they must recorded and published.

Evaluation each stage of project
CRITERION A
I think i did a reasonable job on this criteria; i did all the required research and investigation. However, i think i should have talked about podcasts, why theyre made etc more detailed, instead i rushed through it to listen to the 3 research podcasts. It was really hard to find an interesting and short podcast, since most podcasts are really long and boring. It might be interesting for some people, but others dont find it that way. I think I did well when explaining about the 3 podcasts I listened to. I followed the criteria and talked about everything i had to talk about. Criterion A is usually really difficult because we have to research alot and talk about the unit itself, but in this unit i dont think it was that hard, or maybe i just didnt do enough work.

CRITERION B
It was kind of difficult when first brainstorming for different ideas, but then i managed to find alot of ideas and was surprised myself after looking at the list. As I created outlines for 3 possible topics/ideas, i chose the easiest topic which was partying/drinking. The other two seemed like a bit harder topic, especially the sex/teen pregnancy because i dont have much information about it. After choosing my topic, i dont believe i explained as much why i chose that topic. I couldve done better by explaining more about it.

CRITERION C
I had to make up dates for days before in order to complete my plan/Criterion C. However, it was not much; only about 2 or 3 days. Then i added much more dates, and had to alter it 3 times. I had to change it the first time because the due dates were changed, then i had to change it again because i had to add a few more things. Anyways, i think i did a fair job on this criteria; its not that detailed, but i did provide with some reasonable dates and steps, even though i didnt follow the plan exactly as it is. I could make it better if i included a few more days, and explain the steps with detail.

Criterion D
My script was reasonable and in the appropriate format. I followed the outline i made before, and also adding a few more things in it. I tried hard not to make the podcast boring, by only talking about my interview, I added an introduction with a few humorous parts and included my own opinions at the very end. I think the script was pretty good. The site i published mt podcast was very easy; it is much like blogger.com, with our own page/blog, which you can add podcasts, videos and of course written things. I am moderatley satisfied with my finished podcast; even though i did not add music to the background, which i tried to do, it is not dramatically poorer than a podcast with music. I made my point and tried to entertain the audience, at least a little bit. Since this is my very first podcast ever made, i learned alot about podcasts, teen life and the internet. If i ever have the chance to do this project again i would definately add background music by researching how to do it, and try to talk more about my own opinions, because i believe i didnt talk as much in this podcast.
